Polish for Kids: From Scattered to Fluent

At this age, kids typically arrive already forming phrases and short sentences at home — but tense and case endings are still shaky, which is expected for heritage speakers this young. They can make themselves understood; the accuracy just hasn't caught up yet.

This 10-week live cohort builds that accuracy through play — songs, games, and repeated phrases that make correct endings and verb forms stick, without a single grammar lecture. By the end, your child can introduce themselves and their family, talk about everyday things like food, animals, and colors, and start connecting spoken Polish to simple picture books and early writing.

Each 50-minute live lesson moves at a young learner's pace: a story or song introduces new language, hands-on games make it stick, and a simple speaking or drawing-and-labeling task puts it to use. Grouping shifts weekly, so every child — from quiet listener to confident talker — gets activities matched to where they are.

• Target Age Group: Ages 6–10 (Other age groups available)
• Skill Level: Intermediate (Basic conversational Polish already in place; building everyday fluency)
• Program Duration: 10 Weeks (October 12 – December 14)
• Live Class Schedule: Thursdays (Other days available)

Course Goals

• Understand and respond to everyday words and phrases: colors, numbers, family, food, animals
• Use more consistent verb forms and case endings in familiar, repeated phrases
• Connect spoken Polish to simple picture books and early writing (labeling, copying, matching)
